This gives resin, paint, and inks something to grab onto. Pour resin or paint your design directly onto the sanded side. Allow your artwork to fully cure or dry. Now peel the protective masking from the BACK side. When you remove that back masking, it pulls away any drips, tape, or mess with it , leaving you with clean, professional edges and almost zero cleanup. Artists love this trick because it makes the entire process faster, cleaner, and way less stressful.
