Welcome to our collection of resin pastes! Where color meets control. Pastes have a thicker, creamier, pudding-like consistency that allows you to create bold movement, strong coverage, and dimensional effects that hold their shape while being manipulated.

Compared to other colourants - pastes give you more control. They have a more defined movement - creating depth without everything blending together. They also come in a range of finishes (flat/basic, shimmer, metallic, glittery, pearlescent, etc).

Whether you’re working on countertops, geodes, abstract artwork, or large-scale pours, resin pastes give you the flexibility to push your designs to the next level.

Why Choose Resin Pastes?

Not all colorants behave the same in resin. If you’ve ever struggled with muddy blends, loss of control, fading colors, sinking patterns or unpredictable results—this is where resin pastes shine.

✔️ Paste vs. Mica Powder: A paste is a pigment that melts into and colors your resin whereas a mica powder is a fine particle suspended in the resin.

  • More control over movement and blending compared to mica powders.

  • Color stays true - what you see in the jar is what you get in resin

  • No airborne particles when opening (unlike mica powders)

    • Less waste - no powder drifting or floating away

    • No need to worry about breathing in fine powder particles (not medical advice)

  • Available in a wide range of finishes (luster, sparkle, pearlescent, flat, shimmer, glitter, and more)

    • Whereas mica powders are typically limited to shimmer/metallic effects

  • Holds structure instead of blending away or designs sinking due to heavy mica particles suspended in the resin.

  • Often requires less product for full color payoff

  • If you want to "wake up" the mica particles to create textured designs - that is where mica powders are more preferred. 

✔️ Paste vs. Acrylic Paint

  • Designed specifically for resin (won’t interfere with curing when used properly unlike acrylic paints that can cause your resin to "go off" and quickly overheat)

  • No added water content that can cause curing issues

  • Richer pigmentation with less product needed

✔️ Paste vs. Alcohol Ink

  • Much more control (alcohol inks spread rapidly and unpredictably due to the alcohol content)

  • More stable, consistent results

  • Alcohol Ink, when dropped into resin, isn't typically lightfast / colorfast (could fade over a possibly short amount of time)

  • Alcohol ink is preferred if you are doing sinking white designs - keep in mind that the colors will fade over time.

✔️ Paste vs. Liquid Pigments

  • Thicker consistency = more control

  • Holds lines, swipes, and placement better

  • Liquid pigments are typically transparent/translucent so that makes them more ideal for dimensional and layered effects because you can see through them.
